Wing Snob was born in 2014 out of a simple but powerful idea: that wings deserved better. Our founder, Marcus Lane, had spent years tasting mediocre wings at restaurants that treated them like an afterthought. He knew deep down that the perfect wing — crispy outside, juicy inside, coated in a sauce that made your eyes water in the best possible way — was achievable.

From a small kitchen in West Chicago to becoming a fan-favorite wing destination — here's the Wing Snob journey.
Marcus Lane opens the first Wing Snob kitchen out of a tiny space on North Ave, West Chicago. Armed with 6 original sauces and a conviction that wings deserved better, the journey begins.
Wing Snob is voted "Best Wings in West Chicago" by local food critics. The team grows to 12 staff, the menu expands to 15 sauces, and delivery service launches across the area.
Responding to overwhelming demand, Wing Snob launches a full catering division. From backyard parties to corporate events, our wings take the spotlight at hundreds of gatherings across Illinois.
When the pandemic hit, Wing Snob pivoted to contactless delivery and online ordering within days. Our community support and loyalty kept us going — and we donated over 3,000 meals to frontline workers.
Wing Snob moves into its current location at 200 W North Ave — a fully designed dining space that seats 80 guests, features an open kitchen concept, and hosts live events on weekends.
Wing Snob celebrates a decade of flavor with 50,000 loyal customers, 30+ signature sauces, and a team of 35 dedicated wing lovers. The best is still yet to come.

The original wing snob. Marcus built Wing Snob from a single idea — that wings could be truly great. With 15+ years in culinary arts, he personally develops every sauce recipe.
Operations Manager
Priya ensures every Wing Snob order goes out perfectly and on time. She manages our team of 35, oversees supply chain, and keeps the kitchen running like a well-oiled machine.
Pitmaster & Flavor Dev
DeShawn is the genius behind our smokiest, most complex sauces. A competition BBQ veteran, he brings championship-level technique to every batch of wings he touches.
Guest Experience Lead
Sofia is the heart of our dining room. With a background in hospitality management, she trains every front-of-house team member to deliver the warm, welcoming Wing Snob experience.
